Women with blocked or damaged fallopian tubes. Men or women who have gone through a sterilization procedure.
Men with severe male factor infertility, such as low sperm count or poor sperm motility.
Women with ovulatory disorders, premature ovarian failure, or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) that have not responded to other treatments.
Couples who need genetic screening for their embryos to avoid passing on hereditary conditions and/or for family balancing.
Women of advanced maternal age, typically those over 35, where fertility has declined.
